PIBF petrol tax relief demand as fuel prices hurt businesses
PIBF petrol tax relief demand has been raised by the leaders of Pak International Business Forum (PIBF) due to the continuous increase in petrol prices in Pakistan.
Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Central President of PIBF, Muhammad Ejaz Tanveer, Central Secretary General PIBF, and Muaz Qazi, Chief Organizer PIBF Lahore, said that rising petrol prices are creating serious problems for businesses.
They explained that when petrol prices increase, the cost of transport and production also increases. Because of this, doing business becomes very difficult, especially for small businesses.
They also said that many businesses are facing losses, which is increasing unemployment and poverty in the country.
The PIBF leaders requested the government to control its expenses in a better and smarter way instead of putting more burden on the public.
They strongly demanded that the government should remove taxes on petrol for some time to give relief to businesses and the public.
They added that PIBF petrol tax relief will help reduce prices, support businesses, and improve the overall economic situation of Pakistan.
PIBF (Pak International Business Forum) leadership said they will continue to raise their voice for the business community and work for better economic conditions in the country.
