Transit of Goods through Territory of Pakistan Order 2026
Transit of Goods through Territory of Pakistan Order 2026 is being welcomed as a strong and progressive move by the Pak International Business Forum (PIBF), highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to expanding regional trade.
The Government of Pakistan’s decision to facilitate transit trade with Iran will allow goods from third countries to pass through Pakistan using key corridors such as Gwadar, Karachi, and Taftan.
This development is expected to streamline logistics, reduce trade barriers, and strengthen Pakistan’s position as a key regional transit hub connecting South Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
PIBF believes this initiative will not only enhance bilateral trade with Iran but also create new growth opportunities for Pakistani exporters, businesses, and the logistics sector.
Stronger connectivity means stronger economies — a direction Pakistan must continue to pursue.
